    Dear Anglican Planet Reader,

OUR READERS seem to agree with us
that The Anglican Planet, which entered its eighth year of publication in June, is well worth supporting.  We had a wonderful response to an appeal we made in the Spring of 2011– almost $18,400.  We are extremely grateful to so many generous donors, especially in these hard economic times, and will strive to be worthy stewards of your gifts. The Trinity 2013 issue is our 71st paper and, with your continued support, there should be many more.

We have taken a number of steps recently to improve our business performance and are considering implementing more changes in the next few months.  You can read about some of these steps in our easy-to-read Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ),which also answers other queries you may have about TAP.  If you would like to receive a detailed copy of our new Proposed Business Plan simply contact us. If, after reading these two documents, you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call.

We know that no one is having an easy time of it financially these days so we promise to handle whatever donation you are willing to entrust to us with real stewardship.

If you are able to help us with any amount, please write your cheque to "The Anglican Planet" or donate by clicking on the "donate" button in the top left of this page. Amounts over $10 will receive an income tax receipt.

    Mailing address for donations:

    Shepherding Our Little Ones

It’s small wonder that children feature prominently in advertising for the Anglican Church of Canada’s 2019 campaign, which asks Anglicans what kind of church they want in the future. Anglicans bring children into their faith communities with baptism. We watch them toddle off to Sunday school long before they are ready for Kindergarten, and reach out to them with special events like Vacation Bible School and music camps.

    B.C. Anglicans sue for divorce

The Anglican Church is going through a divorce, and the secular courts need to assign custody of the church property - even if they cannot take sides on the theological arguments that led to the divorce.

This was the key argument presented by four Anglican parishes, in a B.C. Supreme Court case that concluded June 11.
