A Joyful Update

J.I. Packer informs us that by God’s grace, his doctors recently have been able to reverse partially (not totally) the macular degeneration that was causing the theologian to lose his eyesight. We rejoice with him in this wonderful news.

His interview “On Losing Sight but Seeing Christ” (Trinity 2016) was given before these new treatments took place. It is still worth reading as it is a remarkable testimony to how a Christian handles adversity.

Now that he is able to read again, Packer, 90, writes: “I invite your readers to magnify the Lord with me. Let us exalt his glorious Name!”   TAP
